Foreshore Treasures at low tide
For this walk at low tide, our guide takes all those curious to discover a space between land and sea known as the foreshore. In this space, where you can sink into the mud, you’ll dig into the sand in search of those famous mud worms that make wiggles on the surface of the ground. Along the way, you’ll come across edible plants called salicornia. Our guide will be sure to tell you what you need to do to preserve this sensitive environment.
This enriching walk for the whole family invites you to show the utmost respect for nature.
We collected crabs and Léa showed us how to recognize a male from a female. We also saw little worms swirling around on the surface, which was great fun. And it was great to have our feet in the water!
