Cycling is an excellent way to get around and visit the Bassin d’Arcachon. With a network of over 300 km of cycle paths, the Bay is a popular cycling destination.

Leave your car (and the traffic jams!) behind, get on your bike and pedal at your own pace along the safe cycle paths.

The main cycle path around the Bay of Arcachon is the Vélodyssée. This is the cycle path that runs along the entire Atlantic coast, from Roscoff to Hendaye.

      COBAS cycling map

      The Communauté de communes du Sud Bassin (COBAS ) has created various cycling itineraries, represented by round colored signs along the trails. Each route has a different number and color, making it easier to find your way around.
