    The museum can accommodate up to 65 people at any one time.

    For the Vél’ostréitour activity, groups are smaller to guarantee an optimal experience. The activity is open to a maximum of 12 people, allowing for a more immersive discovery experience, adapted to each person’s pace.

  • When are these activities offered?

    Tours of the Maison de l’Huître and the port of Larros are available all year round.

    The Vél’ostréitour activity is available from April to October, the ideal time to enjoy the Bay of Arcachon countryside by bike in pleasant conditions.

  • How long will it take?

    The duration of activities varies according to the experience chosen.

    A visit to the Maison de l’Huître (Oyster House) lasts around 1 hour, providing an insight into the history and know-how of oyster farming in the Bay of Arcachon.

    A visit to the Port de Larros, lasting 1 hour 15 minutes, offers an overview of the oyster industry and the maritime history of this emblematic site.

    Finally,the Vél’ostréitour lasts 3 hours, combining a bike ride with a discovery of the natural and oyster-farming heritage of the Bassin.
