Paddle activity

Let yourself be tempted by an original water sports activity: stand-up paddling! Treat yourself to a total immersion in the heart of nature, while discovering the magnificent beach of La Hume, an ideal spot for this activity.

Frédéric and Stéphanie, who are both passionate about paddling, will guide you through this adventure and share their tips and enthusiasm with you, so that you can enjoy a convivial and enjoyabletime on the water.

Whether you’re a beginner or already experienced, they can adapt to all levels, and for the less experienced, offer a complete initiation before setting off for a ride along the coast.

You will learn the basics of stand-up paddling in complete safety, before setting off to explore the exceptional landscapes along the coast. Nothing is missing for an unforgettable experience, combining fun, relaxation and sensations on the water.

Sea kayaking

Let yourself glide along the water and discover the exceptional natural sites of the Bassin d’Arcachon! Accompanied by Florian, you’ll board two- or three-seater kayaks for an unforgettable adventure, exploring every corners of this unique territory, between fresh and salt water, from its source to its mouth.

Before setting off, Florian will guide you through games on the water’s edge and on board the boats, to familiarize you with kayaking and ensure your safety.

Once you have mastered the basics, you will venture out on a soothing ride, discovering breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife. A fun and immersiveactivity that combines relaxation, exploration and sensations in the heart of a preserved natural environment.

  • What are the basic skills you need to master before setting off?

    Before setting off on any water activity, it’s essential to know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water. This basic skill enables you to feel confident on a boat and react better in the event of a fall. It is recommended to be able to float, move a few meters and put your head under waterwithout apprehension. Although wearing a lifejacket is compulsory, a good level of aquatic comfort guarantees a more serene and enjoyable experience.

  • At what age are activities accessible?

    Water sports are accessible from age 8 for stand-up paddling and age 9 for kayaking. At this age, children generally have sufficientbalance and coordination to handle their craft safely. Paddling requires good stability on the water, while kayaking requires a certain amount of strength to paddle effectively. In all cases, outings are adapted to the age and level of participants, with friendly supervision and appropriate equipment to guarantee a safe and fun experience.

  • How many children can be accompanied by an instructor?

    An instructor can supervise a group of 8 to 12 children maximum, to guarantee optimal supervision and personalized support. This ratio ensures the safety of all participants, while providing them with supervision adapted to their level and needs. In this way, each child can progress at his or her own pace, while enjoying the activity in a safe and friendly environment.
